As an actor and model for almost twenty years, I apply my expertise of color seasons to emphasize your best features, so you don’t fade into the background. I’ve been retouching headshots since then, and dedicate myself to continuing education with new and cutting-edge retouching techniques.

Basic retouching includes most lens reflections.

Most special requests can be accommodated, including advanced retouching, which is utilized for corporate or personal branding purposes, before or after a cosmetic or dental procedure, or before or after a medical procedure.

Color assessment and adjustment, hair adjustment, cosmetic enhancements, makeup addition, etc.

Often, we are more critical of our own portraits than we are of those belonging to others. Therefore, I begin with light retouching, and work with different layers within the portrait. Most wrinkle reduction is done on a layer whose opacity can be adjusted by percentage, so adjustments are quick and tailored to your preference.

Basic retouching with light cosmetics added.

Basic retouching includes routine image enhancement, such as hair flyaways, desaturation of teeth/eye sclera, blemishes, etc. More detailed changes can be accommodated upon request, and all retouching includes side-by-side, before and after proofs for your approval.

Advanced corporate headshot retouching, including facial and feature reconstruction, hairline, brow lift and brow resurfacing.

All headshots are retouched to retain the character of your natural features. If you’d like your natural features changed, please be specific. A natural feature can be downplayed and not erased completely if requested, and is usually done on scars.

Clients who haven’t had a color analysis are sometimes not sure where to start. In neutral-toned clients, it is a personal preference to lean cool or warm, often opting to change the tone of hair, skin, makeup, and clothing to skew in the direction they desire. Clients can choose to do a retouch with or without color analysis.
